“HONG KONG AT YOUR DOORSTEP” – Introduction and Rules

Hong Kong Business Association of Hawaii (HKBAH) is proud to host the inaugural Honolulu–Hong Kong Festival, bringing the spirit and culture of Hong Kong to Hawaii.  We do not solicit for business purposes.  Your email address will not be shared or used for marketing purposes. All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with our strictest privacy practices.

To enter the Holiday Prize Draw (Draw), the registrant must be a resident of the State of Hawaii, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. 

NO PURCHASE REQUIRED: Entry into the Draw without purchase is permitted. The participating restaurants will provide a QR code from HKBAH to the registrant to scan and enter the Draw.

The registrant must complete the entry form at a participating restaurant upon entering the Draw. The registrant will enter his/her email address as acknowledgement of entry into the Draw. One entry is allowed per person, per day.  This email address must belong to the registrant and will identify the restaurant the winning ticket is from. 

The winner will be drawn at random on March 5, 2026, by the officially designated personnel of Honolulu-HK Festival.  Once the drawing is concluded, only the winner will be notified.  No notification will be sent to non-winner registrants.  All registrants are advised to keep their own entry receipts.

Entries are open daily from 9 am on Sunday, 1 February 2026, to 9 pm Hawaii Time on Saturday, 28 February 2026.  Introduction to this event will be available at the “Temple Street Night Market” at Fort Street Mall on January 31, from 3PM- 8:30PM. 

Hong Kong Business Association of Hawaii (HKBAH) will not accept any responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNER

One (1) winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries. The winner will be notified by telephone/email no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026.  HKBAH will then verify the winner’s legal name and the email address used to enter the Draw.

The winner’s name will be published on www.honolulu-hkfestival.com and www.hkbah.us by Friday, March 6, 2026.

The prize will be awarded to the individual whose name appears on the official online entry form. If the prize is not claimed by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026, a redraw will be conducted.  The first redrawn valid entry will be deemed the new winner.

PRIZE DETAILS

There will be one (1) winner. The prize consists of a travel voucher valued at USD $2,000 for a trip to Hong Kong, issued by the Hong Kong Business Association of Hawaii (HKBAH).

The value of the voucher must be applied towards international airfare to, and/or hotel accommodations in, Hong Kong.

Upon issuance of the voucher, HKBAH assumes no responsibility for the issued voucher that is lost, stolen, damaged, or misused. 

The prize is not exchangeable or transferable. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash. No refund will be provided if the prize winner does not use any portion of the prize. Airfare and accommodation are subject to availability at the time of booking and subject to the Terms and Conditions on the voucher issued. The winner will be responsible for paying the difference if the cost of travel exceeds the voucher value. 

LIABILITY AND FORFEITURE

HKBAH shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever (including, without limitation, direct or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with the prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.

If, for any reason, the prize winner fails to redeem the prize by December 6, 2026, the prize shall be forfeited in its entirety, and no compensation will be provided.
